Passionate supporters of the actress are demanding that a man who breached a barricade and seized the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or removed from Singapore.

A circulating video depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside media personnel and charging at Grande while the performers made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being detained", though official papers showed that he was due to appear on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram profile features videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last winter.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," commented an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Several supporters criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more message on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested online networks to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of supporters had gathered in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had waited for as long as eight hours before it began.

The movie, to be released on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a dual adaptation of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected friendship between two distinct sorceresses.

The show itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful film of last year in the UK, and scored 10 Academy Award nods, securing two for best costume and production design.
